This is supposed to be about the price of movie popcorn.

It is, really. I asked my friend Trailfoot, who also has a blog!, what I should blog about today and he told me the price of movie theater popcorn.

I agreed, and the more I thought about it, the more I just didn't care about the high prices of movie theater popcorn.

And why don't I care?

Because I love popcorn. Regardless of its high markup. I am quite aware I am probably over paying for every bag or bucket of popcorn I purchase at the movies, but as I am loading it with that imitation butter stuff, all I can focus on is it sweet, succulent aroma.
Who wouldn't want a handful of that?

I prefer mine buttered, with lots of butter. With a couple of sour patch kids thrown in for variety. How do you like your popcorn?

So yes, movie tickets prices are high, the cost of snacks are high, but people you have to understand that movies are expensive to make. I mean, Avatar? All that CG stuff? Not cheap!

The masses demand better quality movies every year, and than they complain when the prices of things go up.

Suck it up people, and enjoy the popcorn on the way!
